Voting Opens for the 2024 Hasselblad Masters Competition

Posted on June 13, 2024September 15, 2024

Hasselblad Masters competition, one of the world’s most revered photography awards, has reached its key voting stage where both public and expert votes will determine who will win 2023 winners. Submissions increased 35% since 2021’s competition cycle with 85,000 images submitted this time around – an indication of its growing importance within professional photography communities worldwide.

Submissions ranged across an impressive array of categories, such as Landscape, Architecture, Portraiture, Art Street photography and Project//21 for emerging talents. A team of company experts familiar with photography selected 60 finalists – the top 10 photographers from each category being acknowledged with prizes by Hasselblad Internal Jury.

Now, the public can contribute directly to this prestigious competition by casting their vote. Their vote will become part of Hasselblad Grand Jury which comprises eight other highly esteemed members including esteemed photographers, industry editors, experts and past competition winners.

At stake for each category finalist is an incredible haul: each category winner will be honored with a Hasselblad 100-megapixel mirrorless medium format camera, two XCD Series lenses and a creative fund of EUR 5,000. In addition, winners will take part in a collaborative project with Hasselblad and have their work featured in a commemorative Hasselblad Masters book and across their digital platforms.
